Marseille

Marseille is safe Dangerous or Not? When we told our French friends (all pretty big guys who grew up in South of France) we decided to go to Marseille for a day trip, the guys were like "Marseille? Better watch out for the pick-pockets! Don't bring too much cash...". The city has been a trading port for over 2000 years, along with the history of immigrants, it might be a relatively complex mix of people and wealth level. It is understandable that it is regarded as a dangerous place due to these reasons, but you will definitely miss out a big deal if you skip this city while you are close by. MONTE CARLO

Reliving Casino Royale Monaco – the world’s second smallest country (just inches bigger than the Vatican City), where the casino takes up almost a quarter of it (jokes). Nope, I am not a fan of gambling, and wasn’t sure about going to Monte Carlo at first. Aigues-Mortes

Pink Salt Lake in Provence France   Magic Pink This pink salt lake is one magical sight from above an ancient fort in Aigues-Mortes, south of France. After a whole day in bed with fever, I continued on with excitement but would make a few suggestions for you from this experience. Read below for my Must-Go Top 3 spots in this area, tips on when to visit, where to stay, and what to pack (!!). Don't ruin your wonderful trip like I did...

Cassis

A must-go place in Provence, France Fifty shades of blue First post about my trip to South of France!Cassis consists of a charming small town and a lot of jaw-dropping Calanques (creeks along the coastline of bluish green clear water of the Mediterranean Sea). We did an easy day-trip there, which was only an hour drive from Aix-en-Provence. See the photos for yourself and decide if you want to go someday... I'd say you are a nutter if you don't! “Qu’a vist Paris e noun Cassis a ren vist.”   “He who has seen Paris and who has not seen Cassis can say … I have seen nothing.”  Frédéric Mistral (1830 – 1914) Read below for my Must-Go Top 3 spots...
